Patriotism reads in Russian: Patriotism is the ability to see, protect, and multiply the beauty and powers of your motherland. In 1991 the Soviet Union was in a deep crisis of Patriotism. Huge Country collapsed, and further years brought worse and worse events, such as wars in Chechnya, Georgia, and Ukraine. I do not protect the Soviet Union as the ideal system - if it was completely worthy it would have kept strong in 1991 and kept existing. The Soviet Union at large appears now to be a much more rightful, successful, and peaceful government than nowadays Russia and the Soviet Bloc. Perhaps not everything is lost. Perhaps it is possible to restore scientific, economic, and political leadership, cultural sexuality, and appeal of the Post Soviet World, maybe it will not be just consumed by Western and Eastern Superpowers in the loss of patriotic feelings and achievements. Nicholaas Chiao hopes that his first motherland - Belarus will be a strong and Internationally respected country. as the USA will probably do as well.
