Artwork Description:
This ring - the Cold Persistence of Death is a memento mori - a reminder of what previously took place in deaths from generation to generation. Perhaps people are close to a 1000-year lifespan. Perhaps the less psychotic of us will find what to do during such a long life. Perhaps death will be less persistent, and people will become creative Gods, just like in the Greek Pantheon.
